Tredict API Integration

With Terra's Tredict web API integration, your app receives the activities users analyze in Tredict, the manufacturer-independent training platform. Terra normalizes each workout, covering distance, duration, pace, power and heart rate, and POSTs it to your webhook.

Two ways to receive Tredict data

When data is available from a Tredict device, Terra sends it straight to your webhook. During your Terra account setup you'll be prompted for a callback URL, and that is where Terra POSTs each payload.

Tredict does not notify Terra when data changes, so Terra polls it every 5–10 minutes for each connected user and POSTs the normalized payload to your webhook.

Terra API preserves the raw data from the wearable, it just standardizes the units and the json format. It doesn’t augment or change the raw data in any way.

Data is organized into one of 6 data types.

People Often Ask Us...

How do I access Tredict data through an API?

Your user connects their Tredict account through the Terra widget, and Terra reads the activities they analyse on the manufacturer-independent training platform, normalizing each workout for your webhook.

How quickly does Tredict data reach my app?

Terra polls Tredict every 5–10 minutes for each connected user, so new data reaches your webhook within that window of a device sync.

What data is available from Tredict through Terra?

Through Terra's Tredict integration, you can access activity data.

Why read Tredict rather than the original device?

Tredict aggregates activities from many manufacturers, so a single connection covers whatever hardware the athlete uses. Terra normalizes distance, duration, pace, power and heart rate from it into the same Activity shape as a direct device integration.

Do I need my own Tredict API credentials?

No. Terra manages the Tredict API credentials, so there is nothing to request before you connect your first athlete.
