iFit API Integration

With Terra's iFIT web API integration, your app receives the interactive workouts users complete on their connected home fitness equipment. Terra normalizes each session, covering exercise type, duration, distance, calories burned and heart rate, and POSTs it to your webhook.

Two ways to receive iFit data

When data is available from an iFit device, Terra sends it straight to your webhook. During your Terra account setup you'll be prompted for a callback URL, and that is where Terra POSTs each payload.

Terra API preserves the raw data from the wearable, it just standardizes the units and the json format. It doesn’t augment or change the raw data in any way.

Data is organized into one of 6 data types.

People Often Ask Us...

How do I get iFIT workout data into my app?

Your user connects their iFIT account through the Terra widget, and the interactive workouts they complete on their connected home fitness equipment flow to Terra. Terra normalizes each session and POSTs it to your webhook, and the same sessions are readable over the Terra REST API.

What data is available from iFit through Terra?

Through Terra's iFit integration, you can access activity data.

What does an iFIT session payload include?

Terra normalizes each iFIT workout into a standard Activity payload covering the exercise type, duration, distance, calories burned and heart rate recorded during the session — the same shape as a workout from a watch, so one parser handles both.

How much does the iFIT API integration cost?

Nothing beyond your Terra plan; integrations are unlimited on every tier. Terra charges on credits, with 100,000 included each month and usage-based rates after that, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
