Faraaz Akhtar is an AI & Health Researcher at Terra API, where he works with large-scale wearable data to better understand human health using machine learning and statistical methods. He’s particularly interested in learning meaningful representations from physiological time-series and figuring out how to work with noisy, imperfect data collected in real-world settings. His previous work spans a range of problems in wearable health, including sleep, cardiovascular signals, and self-supervised learning approaches for physiological data.
