Amazfit API Integration

Amazfit watches and bands sync into the Zepp app, and Terra's Amazfit API integration reads that connection — so your app can collect data from users' Amazfit devices, and gain insights into the number of calories burned for a user, the steps they generate in a day, and more. Through the Amazfit API integration, your app can use these data to keep users active, and pull detailed workout metrics for analysis.

Two ways to receive Amazfit data

When data is available from an Amazfit device, Terra sends it straight to your webhook. During your Terra account setup you'll be prompted for a callback URL, and that is where Terra POSTs each payload.

Amazfit does not notify Terra when data changes, so Terra polls it every 5–10 minutes for each connected user and POSTs the normalized payload to your webhook.

Terra API preserves the raw data from the wearable, it just standardizes the units and the json format. It doesn’t augment or change the raw data in any way.

How do I access Amazfit data through an API?

Amazfit watches and bands sync into the Zepp app, and Terra reads that account. Your user connects through the Terra widget, and Terra normalizes their workouts, daily totals and sleep into standard payloads delivered to your webhook.

How quickly does Amazfit data reach my app?

Terra polls Amazfit every 5–10 minutes for each connected user, so new data reaches your webhook within that window of a device sync.

What data is available from Amazfit through Terra?

Through Terra's Amazfit integration, you can access activity, daily and sleep data.

Is this the same as Terra's Zepp integration?

It is the same connection, described from the hardware side. Amazfit devices report into Zepp Health's platform, so a user who connects here brings everything their Amazfit watch or band has recorded, and the Zepp page covers the same integration from the app's side.

Which Amazfit devices are supported?

Anything that reports into a Zepp account, including the T-Rex 3 and T-Rex 3 Pro, Balance 2, Active 2, the GTR and GTS ranges, and the Amazfit Band, Bip and Scale models.

Do I need my own Amazfit API credentials?

No. Terra manages the credentials behind the Amazfit integration, so there is nothing to register with Zepp Health before you connect users.
