New Metrics Unlocked for Zepp: 🛌💤

What? 🔌

We’ve teamed up with Zepp to unlock new sleep metrics via Terra! These include nap times and a detailed hypnogram showing time spent in each sleep stage. These updates provide richer sleep insights for apps using Terra’s API, helping users better understand their sleep patterns.

How? 🤝

Our close partnership with Amazfit & Zepp allows us to continuously improve their ecosystem. By expanding our API to include these metrics, developers can deliver enhanced features and insights to their users, adding value to the Zepp experience.

Why? 🧑

User demand was the driving force behind this update. Strong requests for more detailed sleep metrics showed the need for this feature, helping us prioritize its development and deliver what developers and users wanted most. 🙌

Support System Revamp: 📩📊

What? 📩

We’ve revamped our support system, moving from Discord to an integrated ticketing system within the Terra Dashboard. Users can now create, track, and manage tickets directly within the dashboard, along with accessing their support history for a smoother experience.

How? 🛠️

Powered by Zendesk on the backend, we crafted a custom UI that blends perfectly with the Terra Dashboard. Zendesk’s flexible API allowed us to design a system that feels native, offering developers a seamless way to engage with our support team while ensuring all tickets are efficiently handled.

Why? 🚀

Scaling Terra means scaling our support too. Discord was great for community interaction, but it struggled with managing a growing number of tickets and analytics. By adopting Zendesk, we’ve improved response times, ensured no tickets are missed, and gained better insights into support trends. 🛠️📈

Teams API: Per-Athlete Metrics for Team Activity Sessions: ⚽🏃‍♂️

What? 🤝

The Teams API now supports per-athlete metrics in activity session payloads. Coaches can access detailed stats like passes, speed, and sprints, broken down by each game period, offering a deeper understanding of individual player performance.

How? 🛠️

This was made possible by strengthening our integrations with vendors like Catapult. These enhancements allow us to capture and process detailed athlete data, making it available through our API in a structured and actionable format for developers and teams.

Why? 🤔

Coaches rely on granular stats to track player progress, assess performance, and analyze contributions during games. Additionally, athlete management systems need this level of detail to function effectively, making it a critical update for our Teams API. 🏅📊

 

These updates showcase our dedication to enhancing Terra’s ecosystem, offering richer metrics, a smoother support experience, and cutting-edge team-based analytics. 🚀🌟
