Runner up product of the Year 2021 in Product Hunt

Soon after we launched Terra, we were focused on two things. Speaking to users, and building product. To speak to users, we needed to find them first, and hence we broke the sales part into two sections - inbound and outbound.

Part of the inbound sales strategy was launching into multiple platforms, and thus about 6 months ago, we launched Terra in Product Hunt.

Product Hunt is that place where you can find all the new products, and the best ones get in front of millions of people.

I didn't think of it much, and just launched there. Also, Michael Seibel hunted us for the launch. To my surprise, we started battling with the top of the day vote by vote. It seemed that people really liked what we were doing.

We were on top of our PCs for the whole day, staring at the screen. The day ended, and we got hundreds of apps to try Terra.

To my surprise, next day, we get featured by PH in their newsletter too, which is distributed to millions of people. wow - another so many apps learn about us and start using the product.

Fast forward to 6 months later, we get an email from their team mentioning that we are in the top products of the year, and we need to be part of the final event.

So last Tuesday, we were announced as the Runner Up Product of the Year in the health and Fitness category 🎉🎉🎉

Was that a successful launch or what ?
