Planning to exhibit at HLTH next year? Here’s proof that you can set up your entire HLTH exhibition, even on a tight timeline. Our team locked in our booth plan on September 30th 2024, just 20 days before the world’s biggest health tech conference kicked off. Here’s everything our team did in 20 days to make HLTH a success for us.
Preparing for HLTH in under 20 days
Day 1 – Pick Your Battlefield.
We recommend not to waste time and decide on your booth option immediately. First time at HLTH? We went for a turnkey option instead of investing more time and money on a custom booth configuration. But remember, it’s not just about looks. Your message has to cut through the noise and your booth has to create an experience that resonates.
Day 2–4 – Build the Experience.
We treated our booth like a product. Two of our product engineers brainstormed on the following: What should be the first thing that triggers attention? How will people engage with us in and outside the booth? What’s the story they’ll walk away with? We built a narrative, not just a design. This was our playbook.
Day 5–6 – Lock Down the Logistics.
Flights, stays, and the essentials: prizes for our live step challenge, pull-up challenge giveaways, posters, flyers, brochures. All details on deck.
Day 7 onwards – Build Real, Hands-On Demos.
We rolled out a custom-built steps challenge. That way, we could invite attendees to track their steps with Terra using their wearable throughout HLTH. Yes we used Terra API for our app and yes, we designed and built it that fast from scratch!
Day 15 onwards – Double Down on the Demos.
Because our engineers could not get enough of building just one demo, we built a second one :-) This helped us to show new products, such as our health scores and rewards. In the meantime, we also started our in-depth research of attendees to learn who we’d like to speak to.
Day 17–19 – Test, Tweak, and Debug.
Booth setup, last-minute fixes, and final debugging to make sure everything was rock-solid.
Day 20 – Game Day!
We were more than happy to launch a booth that felt just like Terra API.
A last-minute HLTH exhibition doesn’t mean you compromise. It means you get focused, go bold, and create something people won’t forget.
