Is the data coming from Samsung Health limited?

All

WorthyScallop6 months ago

  1. While Garmin and even Apple display information like cadence, heart rate, and altitude accurately, only Samsung shows basic workout metrics (steps, distance, time).
  • Tested using Galaxy Fit3
  • Using testing version API key
  1. Using the getActivity() function yields the same result.
  • What is desired is for cadence, heart rate, and altitude information to be exposed, like other companies provide. Why is this the case?
  1. Are the data conditions different based on the API key or the device?

Hey there,

This could be due to the permissions the end-user has given.

You can also check your developer permissions that were granted to you when you applied to Samsung through Terra API. Let me know if this problem has been resolved or whether you are still facing it!
