Terra's Latest Innovations: Teams API, AI Agents, and Macro Graphs 🌟

TL;DR:

We've launched a Teams API for coach and player data, developed custom AI agents for health insights & more, and introduced Macro breakdown graphs for dietary tracking. Enhancements include better integration, advanced data analysis, and improved user experience.

Alpha Version of Teams API πŸ€ πŸ“ˆ

What?

We've launched a groundbreaking API to support team-based integrations! These integrations enable coaches to access comprehensive data from wearables and tracking systems used by their entire team. Imagine wearables tracking acceleration and location during a game, which the coach can review later for performance analysis. πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ“Š

βš™οΈ How?

Starting from first principles, we examined various athlete tracking devices and developed a uniform, reusable interface for accessing their data. This new REST API introduces novel webhook types and objects, such as "athletes" and "coaches." Stay tuned for an in-depth blog post detailing these features! πŸ”„πŸ†•

πŸ€” Why?

There's been a surge in demand for team-based integrations, including systems like InBody, Vald, and GymAware. Integrating these with our existing individual-focused APIs proved challenging. Building a dedicated API from scratch allowed us to tailor it specifically for team needs, ensuring optimal performance and usability. πŸŽ―πŸ› οΈ

Terra AI Agents: What? How? Why? πŸ€–

What?

Our latest product allows you to build custom AI agents via the Terra dashboard. These agents can perform various actions on your data, such as monitoring blood sugar levels and alerting users when readings deviate significantly from their average, or any other action that you'd want it to do using your users' data. πŸ©ΊπŸ“ˆ

βš™οΈ How?

We've dedicated extensive hours to optimizing our data for large language models (LLMs). These agents can access both current and historical user data, and build a complete understanding of a users' health & fitness levels. Initially, we've launched with GPT-4o and Claude, with plans to add Gemini and others soon. πŸ•’πŸ”

πŸ€” Why?

AI agents are the future. As AI technology evolves, people increasingly rely on agents to automate tasks across different domains. By enabling health and fitness-specific AI agents, we empower users to leverage their data for personalized, actionable insights. πŸŒŸπŸš€

New Macro Breakdown Graphs: What? How? Why? 🍽️

What?

Introducing Macro breakdown charts in Terra Graphs! These new charts display the consumption of proteins, carbs, and fats over time as stacked bar charts, providing a detailed view of dietary intake. πŸ₯—πŸ“Š

βš™οΈ How?

In response to customer requests, we collaborated to design a feature that allows users to visualize their macro intake conveniently. This development offers a comprehensive overview of dietary patterns, helping users track and manage their nutritional goals. πŸ—“οΈπŸ“ˆ

πŸ€” Why?

As Terra Graphs adoption grows, so does the demand for diverse and customizable graph types. We aim to continuously enhance the platform by adding features that meet user needs, ensuring they have the tools necessary for effective health and fitness tracking. βš™οΈπŸŽ―

These updates underscore our commitment to innovation, enhancing user experience, and staying ahead in the health and fitness technology space. πŸš€πŸ”§ Hooray for more integrations with both tracking devices & AI-based services!
