Apply to our startup accelerator
The Terra Startup Accelerator backs early-stage teams building on health data with credits, a named account manager, and hands-on integration support. Because every team gets that support, we only accept about 0.8% of applications.
Who the accelerator is for
We back very few teams, about 0.8% of applicants, so the credits go to founders who could not get started otherwise.
This is for you if
You are pre-revenue or early-revenue and genuinely cannot afford paid API access yet.
Health data is core to the product, not a feature bolted on.
You are new to Terra, not an existing paying customer or a past accelerator recipient.
Not the right fit yet if
You are generating meaningful revenue, well-funded, or scaling fast.
You are an established company or an enterprise.
You can afford Terra today. Start on a paid plan and our team will help you scale.

500+ health apps, wearables, sensors, and labs in one standardized schema, delivered by webhook as data arrives.Built for AI health apps
Clean, normalized, real-time health data optimized for LLM reasoning without bloating your context window. We bet on the founder and the idea
The program is for early-stage teams where a unified, reliable data layer is central to the product. Strong candidates typically have:
Prior founder experience
An exit, meaningful growth, or clear domain expertise. First-time founders are not disqualified, but the bar is higher.
Health data is core to your product
Not a feature you bolted on. The product does not work without reliable health data delivery.
A working or near-working product
Users, pilots, or revenue. Or a working prototype with a credible, near-term path to both.
A clear business model
You have already validated your idea with paying customers, and have a realistic path to affording Terra once the credits end.
Technical depth
You understand the infrastructure decisions you are making, and can say why Terra is the right choice.

Frequently asked questions
Does the amount of funding we have raised matter?
The accelerator is for early-stage teams that genuinely cannot afford paid access yet. If you are already generating meaningful revenue, well-funded, or an established company, you can afford Terra and we will point you to the right paid plan. Among eligible early teams we do not rank you by how much you have raised - we bet on the founder and the idea.
How long is the program, and what does it cost?
Credits run for up to six months. Applying is free and we take no equity.
Are research projects eligible?
Yes, if health data is central to the work and you credit Terra in any resulting publications and datasets.
What happens when the credits end?
You move to a negotiated commercial plan. There is no cliff and no surprise invoice - the terms are agreed in the final month of the program.
