The Technology
Cadoo connects to your wearable, to understand your activity. It then challenge you to compete with your friends, with monetary rewards
Problem
Cadoo creates online fitness challenges, that help you earn money. Walk, Run, do push-ups and so many activities are part of the challenges. To do so, they had to increase their user base by allowing more customers to connect their wearables.
Connecting to more wearables though, and creating all those integrations, was against their core business and focus. They had to establish partnerships, and create an internal devops team to deal with those integrations
Solution
Cadoo worked with Terra, to integrate with all wearables, through a simple connection with the API.
Results
Within days, the team at Cadoo went live with Terra, and became wearable agnostic - enabling all their users to connect their wearable data. Exercise to earn, Walk to earn and other activities were unlocked immediately.
